Another step toward modernizing Borodianka within the framework of the experimental comprehensive recovery project. Free public Wi-Fi is now available in the town.
You can connect at public transport stops, in the central park, at the municipal children’s playground, and in the pedestrian area near the Administrative Services Center (CNAP).
The coverage radius is at least 500 meters. Up to 300 people can use the service simultaneously at each location.
When connecting a smartphone to the internet, a window automatically opens with a tab on the Agency for Restoration’s website, where you can learn about the comprehensive recovery of Borodianka — including ongoing and planned projects.
Street Wi-Fi is a convenient feature for residents, allowing them, among other things, to use an app for tracking public transportation. This app will become available to Borodianka residents soon, as part of the village’s public transport digitalization initiative.
The internet is high-speed, with data transmission rates of up to 500 Mbps. It enables not only browsing news or chatting online but also streaming videos and more.
Аs a reminder, according to a government decision, Borodianka will be the pilot site for implementing 5G mobile communication. Based on the trial results, experts will assess how 5G can support urban recovery — from smart solutions for municipalities and telemedicine to the development of digital services for residents.
