We continue to repair the pavement along the section of the H-12 highway Sumy — Poltava. Currently, we are laying a leveling layer of asphalt concrete using a continuous mat technique. Work is being carried out both on the main roadway and in the areas designated for car parking.

These efforts are part of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine:
• Lowering curbstones at pedestrian crossings to the level of the roadway
• Installing ramps at approaches to pedestrian crossings
• Applying road markings upon completion of work
Since the beginning of 2025, approximately 20 km of road surface has been restored on the H-12 highway, and pothole repairs have been carried out along almost the entire length of the road.
Around 5,000 vehicles travel this route daily. The total length of the H-12 highway within Poltava region is nearly 69 km. It connects Sumy and Poltava regions and plays a crucial role in supporting military, medical, humanitarian and evacuation logistics.
