We will install an alternative energy source on every renovated high-rise building in the village. Panels have already been installed on eight buildings. Their total capacity is 54 kW.
The installation of an alternative energy source directly affects savings in utility bills and provides stable lighting in the entrance hall and on the grounds. It also allows you to use the elevator when the power is out in the building, which is extremely important during blackouts.

The capacity of the equipment varies depending on the number of floors and residents in the building. For example, in a five-story building at 306 Tsentralna Street and a two-story building at 2 Veteranov Street, the panels will be able to provide lighting in common areas and exterior facade lighting. And in the nine-story buildings at 355 Tsentralna Street and 4 Velyka Street, the power will also be sufficient to operate the elevators if necessary.

Work is currently underway to install solar panels on five more roofs. Alternative energy sources will be installed on other buildings after the completion of roofing construction and installation work in homes undergoing major repairs. Nine buildings destroyed as a result of military operations are being rebuilt from scratch. After reconstruction, they will also be provided with an additional source of power supply.
The project for the comprehensive restoration of Borodianka is being implemented by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Agency for Restoration and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
