The road repair season in Zakarpattia is ongoing. Just this summer, specialists restored 24,453 m² of damaged pavement on the state highway M-06 Kyiv – Chop.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, 36,352 m² of damaged sections have been repaired.
M-06 is one of the longest highways in Ukraine (831 km), passing through five regions and serving as a key artery for international logistics.
The Zakarpattia section is especially heavily used, as it carries freight and passenger traffic to three EU countries.
The rapid appearance of damaged sections is caused by heavy truck traffic, precipitation and sharp temperature fluctuations. Therefore, work on the highway continues constantly.
Please note: major repairs on the M-06 in Zakarpattia are currently impossible due to the war. For the fourth consecutive year, all road fund revenues have been directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supporting military logistics and evacuation routes.
