Contractors are repairing regional and national roads of state importance with high traffic intensity, which are important for humanitarian and military logistics. Patch repair is one of the methods of pothole repair that allows eliminating unevenness, ruts, subsidence and other acquired defects in the pavement.

For the safety of road users and to preserve already repaired public roads of national importance, we are also renovating pedestrian crossings, cleaning drainage systems, eliminating landslides, etc.
In particular, work is continuing in the Ternopil region as part of co-financing with communities. The main work on eliminating potholes on international roads in the region has been completed. We continue to work on regional and national highways of state importance. We plan to eliminate critical potholes, ruts and subsidence here by the end of the summer.

The repair process is divided into several stages. First, a milling machine cuts off the top layer of the damaged pavement. The second stage involves treating the milled area with a special bitumen emulsion and then using an asphalt paver to lay hot asphalt concrete, which is compacted with rollers. In sections where the road base requires strengthening, a gravel-sand mixture is applied.
We ask road users to pay attention to warning signs and be especially careful in areas where repair work is being carried out.
