Work is continuing on routine repairs to the M-18 international highway in Zaporizhzhia region. The road is a strategically important transport artery, including for the logistics of military, medical, humanitarian and evacuation flights.
Currently, phased restoration processes are underway on three sections:
- cold milling of the existing road surface,
- partial replacement of the road base,
- and installation of the leveling and top layers of asphalt concrete.
The total length of the section where the work is being carried out is 3.3 km. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of October. Funding is provided from the state budget.
We ask road users to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience, to be careful, and to strictly follow the road signs in the areas where repair work is being carried out.
