In Borodianka, Kyiv region, at 359 Tsentralna Street, we are constructing a new building from the ground up. Previously, a multi-storey residential building stood on this site, but it was destroyed during the russian invasion in 2022. The damage was so extensive that repair was impossible. The ruins were dismantled, and construction of a new nine-storey apartment building has begun in their place.

Specialists have already completed preparatory work, waterproofing of the blinding layer, installed the reinforcement frame, and poured the concrete foundation slab for the parking area. Currently, work is underway on assembling the reinforcement frame for the building’s foundation slab. Once that is completed, construction of the building walls will begin.
The project includes modern layouts and energy-efficient technologies. The new apartment building will house 105 apartments. Part of the ground floor and the underground parking will include a radiation shelter designed to accommodate 287 people. The building and the surrounding area will be accessible to people with limited mobility.

We are rebuilding Borodianka comprehensively. Attention is being given to every aspect — infrastructure, utility networks, the development of the street and road network and recreational areas. Special focus is placed on inclusivity and accessibility.
Background: On March 2, 2022, russian forces dropped bombs on seven apartment buildings on Tsentralna Street in Borodianka. The buildings were also fired upon with tanks and armored vehicles. Among them was a nine-storey building with three entrances at 359 Tsentralna Street. After the airstrike, only ruins remained, and people hiding in the basement were buried under the rubble. Occupying forces prevented any rescue efforts. Only after de-occupation was it possible to fully clear the site.
