Representatives of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine held a working meeting with representatives of the British Embassy in Kyiv to discuss strengthening the resilience of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and enhancing cooperation in its protection.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the Agency’s vision for implementing energy infrastructure protection measures and its capacity to deliver relevant projects. Particular attention was given to governance processes for prioritizing protection projects, decision-making mechanisms, and coordination procedures.
Deputy Head of the Agency Ivan Lukeria presented the Agency’s ongoing projects aimed at protecting critical life-support infrastructure, particularly in Kyiv, and highlighted practical solutions designed to enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure facilities.

Roman Komendant – Deputy Head for digital development, digital transformation and digitalisation presented the Agency’s approach to implementing digital tools that increase transparency and accountability in the construction of protective infrastructure, while also contributing to more efficient project management and oversight.
Representatives of the British Embassy in Kyiv outlined current priorities and approaches to supporting Ukraine’s energy sector, presented ongoing initiatives and programme instruments, and reaffirmed their commitment to further cooperation aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience.

The State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine highly values the support of its international partners and continues its systematic efforts to strengthen the resilience of the country’s critical infrastructure. Cooperation with international partners remains an important component in ensuring the reliability and uninterrupted operation of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure in the face of wartime challenges.
