The Agency for Restoration implements infrastructure projects of varying complexity across the country, while our regional Services carry them out on the ground. It is crucial for us that the reconstruction process operates under clear mechanisms of transparency, accountability and internal control.
That is why a strategic session was held for the leadership, legal, financial, audit and internal control specialists of the Agency for Restoration and its regional Services, organized by UNDP in Ukraine – the United Nations Development Programme.
Participants gained knowledge and practical skills necessary for:
- building a compliance system and ensuring transparency;
- identifying and minimizing corruption risks;
- organizing effective internal control;
- fostering a culture of integrity in professional activities.
This is another important step towards enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the recovery processes in Ukraine.
