The annual State Builder Forum was held in Kyiv, bringing together active, caring, and motivated young people from all over Ukraine for the seventh year in a row. This year more than 150 participants such as youth leaders, community activists, students, representatives of youth councils and volunteer initiatives gathered to discuss the role of youth in state-building and the country’s recovery.
The Head of the Agency Serhii Sukhomlyn took part in thematic discussions together with representatives of government, business, international organizations and civil society. Among the speakers at the forum were the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk; the Minister of Youth and Sports Matvii Bidnyi; the Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Kostyantyn Kovalchuk; the Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kalashnyk; the Chairman of the Board of the JSC Ukrainian Railways Oleksandr Pertsovskyi; UNICEF representative Munir Mammadzade and others.

“Without young people and their energy, the development of state institutions and the state itself is impossible. We are all looking forward to a new Ukraine after the end of hostilities, after the end of the war. And the success of this transformation directly depends on whether young people will go into government or not. Yes, sometimes it is a thankless job. This work is not well paid. But it is an opportunity to make decisions that will change the fate of many people,” said the Head of the Agency for Restoration Serhii Sukhomlyn.
The forum became not only a platform for discussing the challenges facing Ukraine but also a space for interaction, exchange of ideas and inspiration.
