Despite the complexity of financing road infrastructure during the period of military operations in Ukraine, construction of the overpass on the western bypass of Lviv in Zymna Voda has resumed.
As a reminder, in 2023, we completed repair and construction work on one part of the structure and opened it to traffic. We are currently working on the other part.

Virtually all traffic heading towards the Krakovets-Korchova checkpoint passes through this structure. This involves several thousand vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles. The old crossing was in an inoperable condition. Accordingly, there was an urgent need to repair the overpass. We have already built the left side of the bridge, which all traffic uses, and are now building the right side.

What has already been done:
▪ installed piers
▪ installed girders, trusses and pier parts
▪ completed the installation of 27 beams
▪ installed the cover plate, formwork and transition plates
▪ laid two layers of base made of crushed stone and sand mixture
▪ installed the sidewalk
▪ provided waterproofing of the structure
▪ installed barrier fencing
▪ installed approaches to the structure on both sides.
We are currently working on installing the asphalt concrete pavement.
The next stage will involve work to reinforce the slopes and support blocks, paint the lower part of the superstructure, and install drainage and damper systems. We will also install a barrier fence on the approaches to the overpass and a railing fence on the structure, apply road markings and install road signs.
