Specialists have completed the installation of continuous asphalt leveling layers on sections of the road with numerous potholes, from Stanyshivka to Volytsia. Minor defects on another stretch of the road are currently being fixed using jet patching equipment.
We are repairing the national road Р-18 Zhytomyr – Popilnia – Skvyra – Volodarka – Stavyshche as part of routine maintenance efforts. This repair is crucial for ensuring safe traffic conditions and preventing further degradation of the road surface layers.
A specialized laboratory is overseeing the quality of the work by sampling and testing road materials. Horizontal road markings have already been renewed on the section from the city of Zhytomyr to the village of Stanyshivka.
Every day, about 25 units of equipment and over 30 workers from contracting organizations are involved in road maintenance operations.
Highway Р-18 is a key route heading south and plays an important role in maintaining reliable transport links between communities and healthcare institutions across the region.
