Road maintenance work continues in the Kyiv region

Scheduled and emergency maintenance work is being carried out on 2,545 kilometers of state roads.

Every day specialists carry out a set of measures aimed at ensuring road safety.


The following work has been carried out on the roads over the past two weeks:


● 12,600 m² of potholes have been repaired using hot asphalt concrete and the jet method;
● repaired pavement deformations over a total area of 9,600 m²;
● replaced and installed 68 road signs;
● cleared vegetation and trimmed dangerous branches over an area of approximately 38,000 m²;
● 504 linear meters of metal barrier fencing were repaired;
● over 2,000 linear meters of drainage channels were cleaned, and soil was removed from under the roadside for 19,000 linear meters;
● mechanized mowing of grass and weeds was carried out on roadside verges with a total length of 1,452 km and covering an area of over 900,000 m² — near public transport stops, fences, and road signs.
