Emergency restoration works are ongoing on the T-14-23 highway Borynia – Mokhnate in Lviv region. Following an inspection of the site, a landslide of the roadbed was detected, prompting immediate response from specialists to eliminate the hazard. To prevent further damage to the roadway, workers are constructing low retaining walls made of gabions.

Such structures are especially important in mountainous areas — they reinforce slopes where landslide risks exist and protect the road from erosion.
A significant portion of roads in the Lviv region runs through mountainous terrain, including the Borynia – Mokhnate route. These sections are regularly inspected as they require special attention and care.
The T-14-23 road, which connects the M-06 Kyiv–Chop and the H-13 Lviv–Sambir–Uzhhorod highways, ensures stable transport connectivity between communities. It is an important artery for economic development, tourism, and social infrastructure.
Currently, repair work is being carried out on certain sections of the road as part of routine maintenance.
We kindly ask drivers to be understanding of temporary inconveniences, remain attentive, and follow all road signs in the construction zones.
