In March 2023, the russian army struck a multi-story residential building in Zaporizhzhia with a missile. Part of the first entrance was completely destroyed, and the second entrance was partially damaged. Residents lost their homes, their daily routines, and their sense of security.
Restoration of the nine-story building began shortly afterward, but due to a change of contractor, the work was temporarily suspended. Construction resumed in November 2024, and over the course of eight months, specialists literally rebuilt the destroyed entrance from the ground up and completed all interior works.

Residents can now return to their homes. A new entrance has been constructed, an elevator installed, roofing completed and insulated, and the facade and basement insulated as well. Energy-efficient windows, balconies and loggias have been installed.

Specialists carried out full interior finishing of the apartments and completely restored the engineering systems in the first entrance — including water supply, heating, sewage and gas. Specialists completed repairs to stairwells in building entrances and improved the surrounding area.

In total, 41 apartments in the first and second entrances have been restored:
36 were rebuilt entirely from scratch in the destroyed first entrance.
5 underwent major repairs in the adjacent second entrance: in some apartments, individual rooms were renovated; in others, balconies and damaged structural elements were restored. Stairwells in the entrance were also repaired.
The renovation was carried out with residents’ wishes in mind, as it is important to restore not only walls but also comfort. Each homeowner was able to choose wall, floor, and door finishes from a proposed catalog.
Every restored building means returning to people not just a house, but a true sense of home and confidence in the future.
