Emergency road surface restoration works are underway on the T-16-07 highway Izmail – Kiliia – Vylkove, along a 3 km section from the city of Kiliia to the city of Vylkove.
Previously, contractors completed work to restore the cross-section profile and the road base. Currently, the final stage of laying asphalt concrete pavement is in progress across the entire 3 km repair section.
The work is being carried out exclusively using maintenance funds and without halting vehicular traffic.
We would like to remind you that earlier, restoration work was completed on a 5 km section of the road starting from the city of Kiliia.
This road connects four ports in the Izmail district and serves as a crucial artery in the south of Odesa region, reducing travel time for fire services, emergency medical aid and other services to the local communities.
