A major renovation project is underway in Trostianets, Sumy region, where a multi-apartment residential building on Blahovishchenska Street is being restored. During the occupation of the city in February–March 2022, the building suffered heavy shelling by russian forces, resulting in multiple fires and the destruction of several apartments.

The restoration work began in October 2023. The core set of tasks has already been completed: interior partitions and the roof have been rebuilt, load-bearing walls reinforced, new windows and doors installed, and engineering networks laid. In 2025, the project documentation was revised to reflect the needs of residents, including the interior finishing of the apartments.

Currently, builders are performing a wide range of tasks:
· installation of apartment electrical panels and switches;
· mounting of electric stoves;
· waterproofing of walls and floors, installation of self-leveling screeds on balconies;
· laying ceramic tiles on floors and walls;
· laying pipelines for towel dryer connections;
· installation of interior door units.
Next steps include installing stretch ceilings and wallpapering the walls in the living areas.
The capital renovation of the apartment building is funded by the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression by the russian federation. The restoration will allow 140 residents to return to their homes and resume normal living conditions.
