In the Kyiv region, in the town of Makariv, major renovation works are underway on a five-story apartment building at 10 Proektna Street. The building was damaged at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022. We are rebuilding housing for 114 residents. The work is being financed by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Scaffolding has already been installed on the faсade, and work is ongoing to manufacture and install decorative panels between balconies. Specialists are also installing window sills and drip edges. Interior finishing work is being carried out in the living rooms and bathrooms, and water meters are being installed in the apartments. At the same time, roofing work is in progress — specialists are laying brick chimneys.
Previously, damaged structures in the building were dismantled. In the destroyed section of the entrance, three floors have been rebuilt, and water supply systems have been installed. The faсades have been completed, the roof has been renovated, and new windows and balconies have been installed.
According to the project, the restoration includes rebuilding the exterior and interior walls and partitions of the second entrance, reconstructing the destroyed floor slabs, installing new balconies, restoring staircases and insulating the attic and faсades. Additionally, internal utility systems on each floor will be replaced, entrance doors to the apartments will be installed, interior finishes will be completed, and gas supply will be restored.
