In Trostianets, exterior construction works are ongoing on the buildings of the outpatient clinic and the children’s ward of the city hospital. The facility is one of the key medical centers of the community — it provides inpatient, qualified, and specialized medical care for adults and children.

During the occupation of the city in March 2022, the hospital suffered significant destruction due to shelling: the buildings, engineering networks and part of the infrastructure were damaged. Today, the medical facility is gradually being restored thanks to state support and funding from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
Currently, specialists continue performing a range of exterior construction works. Restoration of the stormwater drainage system is underway: the old curbstones have been dismantled, the area has been prepared for asphalting, new curbs have been installed, and asphalting and reconstruction of brick wellheads are being carried out. In parallel, work on laying paving tiles continues.

Earlier, the buildings underwent thermal modernization, which will improve energy efficiency and reduce heating costs. Entrance ramps have also been arranged to meet the needs of people with disabilities and those with limited mobility.
A membrane roof covering has been installed, along with light wells, insulation of the plinth and paving around the buildings. Door openings have been fitted with metal blocks and finished slopes, and retaining and handrail systems for the entrance areas have been mounted. Stairwell floors have been painted, and a metal inspection hatch has been installed.
During engineering works, heating system pipes with thermal insulation were laid, radiators and necessary equipment were installed — ensuring reliable and efficient heating inside the facility.
The restoration of the Trostianets City Hospital is being carried out using funds from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The implementation of this project brings the full restoration of the hospital’s operations closer, which is critically important for ensuring high-quality medical services for residents of the community and neighboring settlements.
