The main works to restore the bridge over the Zhdenivka River on the T-07-10 road (Uzhok – Nyzhni Vorota), which collapsed in June this year, have been completed.
The abutments have been reinforced and a span structure with a protective reinforced concrete slab has been installed. Once the concrete reaches the required strength, specialists plan to carry out waterproofing and lay the road surface on the bridge and its approaches. The project also includes the installation of railings and safety barriers. The contractor plans to complete this scope of work by the end of the month.
The restoration works are being carried out under a Memorandum for the implementation of a charitable program signed in August between the Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in Zakarpattia oblast and LLC “Verkhovynskyi Wind Park.” The works are being funded without the use of state or local budget funds. Specialists from the Service for Restoration in Zakarpattia oblast are overseeing the quality and compliance of the contractor’s work with the project documentation.
The completion of the project and the restoration of traffic are expected by the end of the year.
