A working meeting was held at the Agency for Restoration with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). During the meeting, the parties discussed projects being implemented with the support of the Government of Japan, which cover critical sectors such as energy, transport, water supply, humanitarian demining and municipal infrastructure.

The meeting focused on completing the first phase of joint projects under the Emergency Recovery Program. One of the key initiatives discussed was the potential deployment of a mobile water purification system in Odesa.

Particular attention was also given to the second and third phases of the Emergency Recovery Program, especially the support of municipal and transport infrastructure. Recovery services in the Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk and Ternopil regions have received four sets of modular temporary bridge structures for the rapid restoration of transport connections, which will be installed soon.

The Agency for Restoration and JICA reaffirmed their commitment to further developing the partnership within the framework of the Emergency Recovery Program and ensuring transparent post-project monitoring of all implemented solutions.
