The T-24-09 highway facilitates the movement of transit transport from the M-03 Kyiv–Kharkiv road heading south and serves as a crucial transport and strategic logistics artery for the left-bank area of the Cherkasy region.
Due to heavy traffic loads, some sections of the road are in poor condition. Overall, the highway requires repair along nearly its entire length. The total area in need of repair at this location is approximately 50,000 square meters.

The Service for Restoration in the Cherkasy oblast began repair works on the T-24-09 highway in June of this year. These efforts are essential to ensure road safety for all users, improve military logistics, and respond to motorists’ requests to upgrade the road’s condition.
So far, specialists have repaired around 7,000 square meters of emergency potholes using hot asphalt concrete and jet patching methods. Road signs have been installed, tree crowns trimmed and the road shoulders reinforced.
