Builders have completed the main exterior work on the polyclinic, children’s ward and the passageway between the polyclinic and the inpatient building of the Trostyanets Hospital in Sumy Oblast. The buildings have been thermally modernized, and porches have been installed to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities and other low-mobility groups. Paving slabs have been laid around the hospital buildings.

The restoration of the Trostyanets City Hospital is being financed by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Subsequently, internal renovation work will begin on the stairwells and the passageway between the polyclinic building and the inpatient building of the Trostyanets hospital. The internal renovation includes finishing the walls and ceiling, installing lighting and replacing the railings on the stairwells.
For reference. The hospital provides assistance to about 400 people every day, including both adults and children. When Trostyanets was under occupation for over a month in 2022, the russians shelled the hospital with mines and tanks, causing serious damage to three buildings. We are restoring the hospital for the residents of Trostyanets and neighboring communities.
