Renovating house in Trostyanets

Housing and social infrastructure
Sumy

We are continuing the reconstruction of an apartment building on Neskuchanska Street in the Trostyanets city, Sumy region. Last year the main construction work on the building was completed. In order to take into account the needs of apartment owners, adjustments were made to the project documentation in 2025, in particular regarding the interior finishing of the apartments.

The issue of options for wall and floor finishing materials has already been discussed with the apartment owners. Currently, the old (damaged) apartment finishes are being dismantled. Builders are restoring floor screeds and widening old openings in partitions for interior door blocks.

For reference

Trostyanets was under occupation for over a month in March 2022. At that time the high-rise building suffered significant damage.

In 2024 the main construction work on the building was completed: the load-bearing brick walls were reinforced with metal structures and the facade of the building was insulated. All communication networks were installed and interior partitions were erected. New windows, doors, balcony units, window sills and window slopes were installed in the apartments. The floor screed and wall plastering were installed in the apartments. The walls and ceilings in common areas were painted. A basic shelter with access for people with limited mobility was set up in the basement. Work was carried out to improve the surrounding area.
