Major repairs are underway in two buildings on Zaporizka Street that were damaged by enemy shelling in 2023. Restoration work began at the end of 2023 at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
Two entrances to one of the buildings were damaged: one was almost destroyed, in the other some apartments and balconies were ruined.
Currently, the first entrance is under construction on the 8th and 9th floors, and the 6th floor is under construction of partitions. The builders continue to install windows in apartments and loggias from the 1st to the 6th floors, electrical work and plastering the walls of apartments from the 1st to the 3rd floors. In the second entrance the attic floor has already been insulated and the facades are being finalized. Stairwells and balconies are being repaired, windows are being glazed and drainage systems are being installed.
In the neighboring high-rise building the 4th entrance was damaged.
The dismantling work has been completed. In addition, the specialists have already restored and reinforced the end wall of the 4th entrance with metal structures and monolithic reinforced concrete and the finishing work in the apartments is underway. At the same time interior partitions are being installed in the 1st through 4th entrances and windows are being installed.
The project to restore both buildings on Zaporizka Street includes the reconstruction of apartments and stairwells, as well as the installation of utilities.
