Major repair works are underway in two residential buildings on Zaporizka Street that were damaged by enemy shelling. The apartment buildings suffered damage to individual flats, common areas, utility networks, and some stairwells. The restoration works began in late 2023 and are funded by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Currently, in one of the buildings, specialists are finishing masonry work on the 7th and 8th floors of the first stairwell and partition walls on the 5th floor. Window installation continues on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, along with plastering inside the apartments. Electrical work is also being carried out on the 1st and 2nd floors. In the second stairwell, attic insulation has been completed, and façade insulation is nearing completion. Repairs to stairwells and balconies, window glazing, and drainage system installation are ongoing.
At the neighboring building, finishing works continue in the apartments of the 4th stairwell, along with the installation of interior partitions and window installation from the 1st to the 4th stairwells. All demolition work in the 4th stairwell has been completed. Additionally, specialists have restored and reinforced the end wall of the 4th stairwell with steel structures and monolithic reinforced concrete.
The restoration project for both buildings on Zaporizka Street includes rebuilding with full apartment and stairwell finishing and installation of utility networks.
