In Borodianka, Kyiv region we are rebuilding damaged housing according to the principle of “better than it was.” This year we are completing major repairs to residential buildings. This is not just a renovation of buildings but their thermal modernization, taking into account modern standards of inclusiveness and energy efficiency.

Our goal is not only to rebuild but also to make people’s lives more comfortable. So the next step is to implement systemic changes:
- modernization of the water supply system and changing approaches to the household waste management system;
- development of a new transport model with the introduction of electronic tickets;
- creation of conditions for leisure activities;
- improvement of energy efficiency and public safety.
Comprehensive restoration must take into account the needs of residents, so feedback is important to us. Therefore, we present our plans and explain their core ideas, so that every resident of the village understands how the community is changing and can take part in shaping those changes. On the first day of work, we already talked to more than 50 residents. We heard their stories, needs, suggestions and comments.
This is just the beginning of a dialogue that will form the basis for effective reconstruction.
