In the Kyiv region, we are carrying out a comprehensive restoration of the town of Borodianka, which suffered significant damage as a result of russia’s armed aggression during the full-scale invasion. Among the residential buildings being restored or built from scratch is a multi-storey apartment building at 2 Parkova Street. The building was damaged by a blast wave at the beginning of the russian invasion. Windows, doors, structural elements and utility systems were destroyed in the explosion.

Specialists have already completed the following works:
· insulation of the technical floor slab and the basement ceiling;
· installation of the main water supply network;
· installation of lighting systems in common areas and roof access points;
· brickwork of ventilation shafts and covering them with concrete slabs, installation of parapets on the roof;
· replacement and commissioning of elevator equipment, as well as external and internal gas supply networks.
Currently, interior finishing works are underway in common areas. Stormwater drainage systems in the basement are being replaced. Electrical installation works are also ongoing, including laying power cables from distribution panels on each floor to individual apartments. At the same time, weather permitting, facade and roofing works continue, including insulation and exterior finishing.
Accessibility for people with limited mobility is also being taken into account: ramps and tactile paving will be installed at the building’s entrances.
This comprehensive reconstruction project in Borodianka is being implemented by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the State Agency for Reconstruction and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
