New construction of a multi-apartment building underway in Borodianka

Housing and social infrastructure
Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, a new nine-story apartment building is being constructed in Borodianka at 359 Tsentralna Street, on the site of a previously destroyed building. In 2022, during the occupation of the settlement, the original building with three entrances was turned into ruins as a result of enemy shelling. The debris could only be cleared after the de-occupation. The remnants of the building were dismantled, and construction work on a new structure has begun on the site.

At present, pile installation has been completed. Specialists are finalizing soil grading between the piles in preparation for the construction of the foundation slab. Work has also begun on laying a crushed stone base for the foundation.

The new nine-story building will feature modern layouts and energy-efficient technologies. It will accommodate 105 apartments. Part of the ground floor and the underground parking area will include a radiation shelter designed to hold 287 people. The building and the surrounding area will be accessible to people with limited mobility.

Borodianka is being rebuilt comprehensively: infrastructure, utility networks, including gas supply, water supply, sewage systems and electrical grids.
