The public procurement procedure for the project of overhaul of the M-15 Odesa-Reni road (to Bucharest) has been completed.

It is about arranging a modern parking lot for vehicles and drivers’ rest at km 307+070 on the left side – near the Reni – Giurgiulesti international checkpoint in Odesa region.

Based on the results of a tender in Prozorro, the contractor is ROSTDORSTROI LLC and the contract was concluded.

The contract provides for the creation of a convenient infrastructure for temporary waiting for clearance and rest for road users:

 ▪️ 46 parking spaces for trucks

 ▪️ 13 for cars, including 2 spaces for people with disabilities

Implementation of this project:

 – will reduce the load on the checkpoint;

 – will improve logistics and security;

 – will improve the quality of border infrastructure.

The initiative is implemented within the framework of the European Solidarity Roads program, which integrates Ukrainian transport routes into the EU network.

The project is funded with the support of the EU program “Connecting Europe Facility” (CEF):  50% of the costs are covered by a European grant, another 50% by the state budget of Ukraine.

This cooperation was made possible through coordination and strategic communication between the Ministry for Development of  Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the State Agency for  Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
