A residential building in central Zaporizhzhia, located on Nezalezhnoi Ukrainy Street, was damaged in March 2023. A missile strike destroyed part of the multi-story building and several key structural elements. Reconstruction began at the end of 2023 and is being carried out with funds from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Currently, builders are finishing the external insulation of the facades. Tiling work in bathrooms and on balconies in entrances 1 and 4 is in its final stage. Finishing works are ongoing in common areas and apartments, with specialists installing plumbing fixtures and equipment. Landscaping of the surrounding area is also in progress.
Earlier, damaged elements were dismantled, and the main structural parts of the destroyed section were rebuilt. This included restoring walls and floor slabs, installing staircases and landings, and constructing a new insulated roof with parapet fencing. Drainage systems, balconies and windows were also installed.

The building restoration project involves a comprehensive reconstruction, including interior finishing in apartments, restoration of major external and internal utility systems, and landscaping of the adjacent territory. The building will be energy-efficient once completed.
