Polaris is a Swedish-Ukrainian international technical assistance program aimed at coordinating efforts to restore social and civil infrastructure at the local level.
The Head of the Agency thanked international partners for their systematic support and assistance and outlined the Agency’s key priorities for the near term:
- ensuring logistics in frontline areas, including road protection;
- developing transport links with EU countries, including the road network, bridges and border crossing points;
- protecting critical infrastructure, particularly energy facilities.
The Agency for Restoration will place a particular focus on frontline communities, as these communities are most in need of support and assistance.
