We are modernizing the Yahodyn international automobile border crossing point to enhance efficiency, comfort and safety for everyone crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border, as well as to ensure proper working conditions for the personnel.
In addition to daily maintenance of the area, buildings and facilities, several repair works have been carried out at the site this year. Specifically, damaged pavement has been replaced, road markings renewed, parapets restored, part of the roof over the control zone and industrial gates replaced, and restroom facilities repaired.

Currently, work is underway to replace the roof of the deep inspection bay for freight vehicles, and to repair the roof and drainage system of the passenger inspection building. Planned improvements also include replacing the roof of the confiscated goods storage facility, installing new automatic barriers, and repairing the wastewater treatment facilities and fire protection systems.
In addition, the major repair of nearly two kilometers of the M-07 highway (Kyiv – Kovel – Yahodyn, towards Lublin) leading to the border crossing point is in its final stage.
We have also selected a contractor for the construction of parking areas to provide additional spaces for freight vehicles and launched public procurement procedures for building a new terminal at the Yahodyn–Dorohusk border crossing point.

This progress has been made possible through coordinated efforts and strategic communication between the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
