We are carrying out work to eliminate emergency potholes on one of the sections of the M-06 Kyiv–Chop motorway to ensure uninterrupted and safe passage of transport.
Currently, on the Mykolaiv–Stryi section road workers are carrying out work using hot asphalt concrete and the injection-jet method as part of the operational maintenance of the motorway.
Due to the significant load on the road surface, deformations of the worn pavement have formed, in particular rutting, bulges and potholes. The last major repair of the M-06 road from Lviv to Stryi was carried out in 2008.

Even before the full-scale invasion about 30,000 vehicles traveled this section of the road every day, a third of which were trucks. Given the blocked freight and passenger traffic routes in eastern and southern Ukraine due to military operations, the number of vehicles on the roads in the western part of the country has increased significantly. In particular this concerns international highways leading to border crossing points with the European Union.
Reversible traffic has been organized in areas where repair work is being carried out. Drivers are asked to pay attention to temporary road signs and observe speed limits.
