In the Lviv region, on the T-14-24 Skole – Slavske highway, several road crews are simultaneously carrying out construction works on five bridge crossings. The structures along this route were in a state of disrepair and required major restoration.
The T-14-24 road provides stable transport connections between communities and is important for the development of tourism, the economy and social infrastructure in the mountainous region of Lviv Oblast.
Currently, specialists have completed repair work on the right traffic lane, including:
- dismantling damaged structural elements and installing new ones;
- laying two layers of asphalt concrete pavement after reinforcing the base;
- completing the installation of girders, stringers, and beginning the installation of beams on one of the bridges;
- installing barrier and railing fences.
Work has also begun on dismantling damaged structural elements on the left side. Vehicle traffic has been redirected to the newly repaired lane in a reversible (alternating) manner.
We urge drivers to be cautious and follow the temporary traffic signs in areas where repair works are ongoing!
