The village of Yahidne in the Chernihiv district is being rebuilt comprehensively. Along with the restoration of the housing stock, the entire social infrastructure of the settlement is also being renewed.
During the hostilities in March 2022, the village club in Yahidne was completely destroyed. A Community Development Center will be constructed on the site of the burned-down building. This will be an administrative facility that will include a hall for community meetings, cultural and educational events. It will also house a paramedic and midwife station and a reception area for citizens. Additionally, the building will serve as a shelter during air raids.

Following a thorough site inspection and demining by the State Emergency Service specialists, construction workers have started dismantling works. Burnt structural remains are being cleared. Next, an excavation will be carried out, and the foundation for the new building will be laid.
The first floor will include: a reception area for citizens hosted by the village elder, a lobby, a hall for community meetings and events, restrooms, the paramedic and midwife station, a cloakroom, a library, a boiler room and a server room.
The basement level will include a designated shelter area for visitors and staff during air raid alerts. The shelter will have separate emergency exits leading outside.
An urban park and a parking lot will be arranged around the building. A public water well with drinking water will also be located nearby.
