The section of the national importance road H-09 Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Bohorodchany – Ivano-Frankivsk – Rohatyn – Bibrka – Lviv borders the state border with Romania and is a high-control area. The road connects Zakarpattia with Ivano-Frankivsk and then Lviv regions, and is a powerful and strategic logistics artery of the three western regions – Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv. We carry out works within the framework of operational maintenance.
What has been done:
We cleared the area near the retaining wall to prevent rock falls.
Strengthened the road base in places of subsidence
Installed a drainage pipe for effective drainage – so that the roadbed remains stable even after heavy rains.
A new road surface was laid: the lower and upper asphalt layers are ready.
The roadside was reinforced with crushed stone mixture for safe and durable driving.
The total area of the repaired pavement is 7,506 m2.
