About 170 employees and more than 34 pieces of equipment are working on the project.
The Agency for Restoration is overhauling 17 apartment buildings and 3 administrative buildings in Borodyanka. Another 2 buildings are being built from scratch due to significant damage.
We also expect to hold a tender for the reconstruction of the community center.
This year we plan to complete all the overhauls, which includes 20 facilities. The work is at the final stage of reconstruction: we are insulating the facades and finishing the interior of the premises and common areas.
Two new buildings are under construction: piles are being laid for the foundations and at another site soil is being removed to make a pit. These are longer-term works which will be completed next year.
At the facilities we are restoring, we have completed and/or are in the process of dismantling, structural reinforcement, installation of partitions, facade insulation, roof repair, replacement of balconies and windows, landscaping, replacement of electrical panels, repair and finishing works in common areas.
The buildings are to be thermally insulated: insulated facades and roofs with mineral wool, reinforcement, plaster and energy modernization (new electricity and gas networks).
All 19 residential buildings will be equipped with an alternative energy source (solar panels to ensure energy efficiency).
In addition, Tsentralna Street in Borodyanka is being comprehensively restored. Not only the asphalt and sidewalks are being repaired but energy-efficient, inclusive and safety solutions are being implemented. These include the installation of video surveillance cameras, energy-efficient street lighting, inclusive curbs and pedestrian crossings, bicycle infrastructure and modern public transport stops with digital displays.
Also it is planned to introduce a real-time traffic monitoring system and an electronic ticket for payment for travel.
