Major repairs are ongoing on the overpass located on the T-10-19 state road at its intersection with the M-06 international highway near Makariv, Kyiv region.
The structure suffered extensive damage during the russian invasion in 2022. A new overpass is being constructed to replace the destroyed one, including full dismantling of the remaining old structure.
Currently, reinforcement and concreting works have been fully completed on the pier caps and beam seats of all three main piers and one abutment. The next stage involves the installation of steel span beams.
In addition, reinforcement cages, formwork, and concreting of the second abutment and its cap beam have been completed. Ongoing work includes construction of the abutment wall, beam seats and wing walls.
Specialists have also prepared the foundation and installed a surface water treatment separator. At the construction site, monolithic concrete slabs have been laid to receive and assemble the steel beam sections.
Once completed, the restored overpass will ensure fast, safe and comfortable transport connectivity on both regional and international routes.
