In the village of Chernykhivtsi, Ternopil region, repair works are ongoing on the bridge over the Hnizna River, located on the P-43 highway. The restoration of this artificial structure is critically important for the logistics of both the region and the country. Approximately 10,000 vehicles pass through this route daily.

Several crews of specialists are working simultaneously at the construction site. Six span structure beams have been installed on the abutments that were previously constructed, with braces secured between them. In parallel, works are underway to install gabions on the slopes of the bridge. The sub-bridge areas on both sides have already been completed, and the riverbed has been reinforced with rubble stone.

The metal modular structures used to assemble the new bridge were provided free of charge by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as part of the “Emergency Recovery Program.” The total length of the new structure will be 20 meters, and its load-bearing capacity will increase to 100 tons.
We urge drivers traveling along the P-43/M-19/ – Lanivtsi – /H-02/ route to plan their journeys according to the suggested detour routes.
