The State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine is contributing to the implementation of comprehensive resilience plans. These efforts focus on protecting critical infrastructure, developing distributed generation, ensuring backup power supply, and strengthening community resilience. Each of these components is essential for preparing for the upcoming autumn and winter season.

“The Agency for Restoration expresses its sincere gratitude to our international partners for their continued support in helping Ukrainian communities prepare for the coming winter,” said Ivan Lukeria, Deputy Head of the Agency for Restoration.

As part of its cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Agency has received equipment and machinery that will be transferred to Ukrainian communities as part of the implementation of the Resilience Plans to strengthen their preparedness for the upcoming heating season.

The delivery includes:

Mobile boiler houses:

— 12 emergency gas- and liquid-fuel-fired mobile boiler houses with a capacity of 900 kW, based on Bosch UNIMAT UT-L 4 boilers;

— 2 mobile boiler houses with a capacity of 1,950 kW, based on Viessmann Vitomax LW M60A boilers.

Specialized equipment:

— 3 JCB 3CX backhoe loaders;

— 3 Mercedes-Benz dump trucks equipped with truck-mounted cranes;

— 2 heavy-duty trucks with low-bed trailers.

Energy storage systems:

— 2 LiFePo4 battery energy storage system (BESS) units, each comprising one inverter, 12 battery modules, a control unit, and a mounting rack, with a total storage capacity of 60 kWh and a nominal voltage of 614.4 V.

“The remaining equipment, including additional mobile boiler houses, is expected to be delivered in the near future. The equipment received will help ensure the reliable operation of future heating seasons and strengthen the energy resilience of Ukrainian communities under martial law. We express our sincere gratitude to the Government of Germany, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the GIZ team for their unwavering support of Ukraine,” said Ivan Lukeria.
