On the national highway T-16-07 between the cities of Kiliia and Vylkove emergency restoration work was carried out on an 8-kilometer stretch of the road.
Road workers restored the cross profile of the road surface and its base, laid asphalt concrete pavement along the entire section under repair, applied road markings, and installed traffic signs.
The work was carried out exclusively using maintenance funds, subject to available financing, and without stopping vehicle traffic.
This highway connects four ports in the Izmail district and serves as an important transport artery in southern Odesa region. It is also a key route for reducing response time for fire, emergency medical and other services to local communities.
